Not likely! We don’t believe in deprivation, and don’t want anybody to be hungry. Our portions are intentionally generous, and most people have leftovers that they share with family and friends. If you are hungry, refer to the Foods List and Eating Guide for options, and make the bonus snack recipes.
Yes, you do need a juicer to do the juice cleanse portion (3 days of the program). If you don’t have one, ask a friend if you can borrow one. You can use a blender to make the juice recipes, and then strain the juice. However, the recipes have been calibrated for a juicer, so flavor profiles will change.
No. While clean eating and juice fasting (3 days of the program) is a safe and healthy practice for the majority of people, we don’t recommend it for those with critical heart conditions, diabetes, or cancer (especially those actively undergoing oncology treatments). Juice fasting is unsafe for pregnant or lactating women, too. And, juice fasting is not appropriate for children. Cleansing (clean eating, not juice fasting) is beneficial for almost everyone. Please consult your doctor or healthcare practitioner before participating in the 14-Day Cleanse, particularly if you have existing medical conditions or concerns.
